All thanks go out to Jeff Mejia for recapping the "Quickening" promo. He writes excellent descriptions. Please don't post this elsewhere without having his permission.




Narrator: Next Monday...

Open on a graphic that says "PROPHECY"

Narrator: An ancient prophecy tells of a child...

Graphic morphs into "CHILD".

Open on Angel reaching out to touch Darla's belly, as Darla lies on her hotel room bed. VO: (Gavin Park:"That's impossible, vampires can't give birth.")

A close up of Angel's hand on Darla's belly, as Darla places her hand on top of his.

Cut to another graphic that says "DARKNESS".

Narrator: From Darkness, will be born a great power...

The graphic morphs into "POWER".

Cut to a scene where the gang surround Darla as Wesley performs a sonogram. Everyone is glancing at the monitor. VO: (Angel - "We've got to figure out what's inside of her, now!")

Cut to a close up of Darla, then a shot of the sonogram.

Narrator: The battle for Angel's unborn child begins...

Cut to a crane shot, looking down on the Angelmobile, stopped in a deserted alley. The gang + Darla are inside the car (I think Cordeila's driving), as Angel leaps up from the car, Spidey-like, to an overhanging fire escape.

Cut to a shot of a couple of ninja-looking figures rapelling down some columns at the inside of the entrance to the Hyperion.

Cut to a shot of another ninja-looking guy holding a sword, crashing through a window and leaping down from above.

Cut to an Ichabod Crane-looking fellow (call him HookGuy for now). He is dressed in a leather jacket and is wearing a very high-collared white shirt, and is standing inside the Hyperion lobby. VO: (HookGuy - "I'm afraid there might be some blood.")

Cut to a shot of the HookGuy in the Hyperion lobby, as the camera rotates around. We see at least three guards (ninja-looking types) standing around, holding crossbows. HookGuy is picking up an evil -looking broad hook.

Cut to a shot of Darla, sitting in a chair in her room, holding Angel's wrist. Angel is knelt before her. VO:(Darla - "I want it out, NOW!")

Cut to a close up of Angel in the center of a room (an operating room?). He is back to back with Cordelia. VO: (Angel - "We are surrounded.")

Cut to a shot of Cordy and Gunn, standing in the room, looking in different directions with an "Oh, shit!" look on their faces. VO: (Cordy - "Who has a plan?")

A quick cut to a close up of a wide-eyed Fred.

Cut to a shot of 3 vampires standing on the balcony surrounding the room. The room appears to be an operating demonstration room, with observation areas above the room itself.

Cut to a shot of one of the vampires leaping over the balcony rail down to the center of the room. A sign, "have YOU SAVED a LIFE TODAY?" is visible on the wall behind the leaping vampire.

A flash cut to the operating room, where everybody is engaged in a fight. Nobody is on the operating table. I can see Cordelia fighting a dark-haired female, Fred is holding up Darla, Angel is reeling from a blow from a another vampire, Gunn is in the left corner fighting a different vampire, and a blond vampire is charging Fred and Darla.

Flash cut to Cordelia punching the dark-haired female.

Flash cut to a shot of Wesley grabbing a stake in mid-air. Cordelia is behind him, fighting something.

Flash cut to Gunn delivering a left cross to another vampire.

Flash cut to Angel delivering a right cross to a vampire (remember, Angel has no left.)

Flash cut to a vampire leaping down from the balcony as 2 other vampires look on.

Cut to a shot of the Angelmobile in the alley. Darla is screaming, laid out in the back seat. Wesley is to the left of the car, reaching in to help Darla. Fred is also to the left of the car as she comes forward to help. Cordelia is a little bit further to the left of the car, holding up a stake in her hand. Gunn is at the back right of the car as her rushes to help, bringing up a blanket that he hands to Wesley for Darla's comfort. Gunn looks up from the car. Angel is not in this shot. VO: (Darla - "Aaaaaaaaaagggghhhhhhhhhhhh!")

Narrator: An all new Angel, next Monday on the WB.
