Well the Darla in this episode was pretty twisted. I remember seeing it for the first time and cheering when Angel finally staked her.

No, at the time, like all BTVS viewers, I was supporting B/A.

Yes, it also made me wonder how bad this Angelus person was.

No, actually I kinda hated her which is what the writers wanted anyway. Her character had little depth except for acting like the ex-girlfriend.

Of course! In Buffy S1, she was this evil vamp with very little depth. In Angel S2, we're given more background history on her. We can sympathize with her, we know she still cares for Angel/Angelus despite the fact that he staked her.

No, Buffy had every right to be a bit frantic, after all, her mother just got bit, Angel was caught and Buffy obviously cares for her mom.

Well I hope I don't end up sounding like a total dork. It's been a while since I saw Angel and I've forgotten a few things. I don't even know if I was referring to the right episode!
