To me, it was more of boyfriend broke up with girl centuries ago but the ex wouldn't accept it, kind of thing.

Err... not really.

>Did you even notice the D/A interaction?

There was a connection between them, probably from Darla pov, 'hate you want to make you suffer' by reminding you, you're a vampire and she's a slayer born to kill you. It can never be. (ooh she's insightful as well as evil).

Darla still knew how to get under her boys' skin. *g*.

>Did you like Darla in this episode?

Can't say I was a big supporter. She was evilly twisted,
and yet smart - guns. (cheater, lol). She had the buffster
nailed to the wall only to have that darling boy of hers
stake her in the back. (Must confess I cheered when I saw
that).

>Do you think her character has been changed completely
>since then in Angel Season 2 and what we have of
>season 3?

Definately. In the early BtVS days can't say I had any
interest in Darla. Season 2 of Angel we get a little more
info on Darla to know she really didn't have a good life as
a human, and in my opinion was better of as a vampire.
Sired again by Dru, but I really didn't find her all that
evil (can't tell me those lawyers didn't deserve what they
got, lol.) She was bitter perhaps but not evil as they
come. Season 3, she may be pregnant and may harbour
maternal feelings for her child but thank god she doesn't
hide her true nature. Biting Cordy just throws those
comments out the window, of how some fans reckon,
"Darla will probably use this child to get Angel". Not
blimmin' likely. Otherwise she wouldn't have done that.
She'd be this fake sweet and caring woman towards the
people who matter most to him. Good to know she's true to
herself.

>In the light of what we know now, even though Darla
>was wrong in attacking Buffy, did you think that Buffy
>was in over her head regarding Angel?

I'm one who would have watched the show without all the B/A
shippiness. I was actually hoping for a Willow/Angel hook
up, and then loved the Dru/Angelus/Spike interaction. But
yes, Buffy was way over her head, afterall slayer/vampire
just screams trouble & to an extent idiocy. Ah, but the
temptation of 'forbidden love', can never let that pass by.
