Quite Frankly, I have slight issues with what happened with the way the Fang Gang treated Angel. If anything, they should have at least realized that Angel was majorly over-identifying with Darla and not truly understanding the imapct that the return of his sire meant to him. Instead, the mantra is Angel is wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong for even wanting to help Darla or getting involved with it. Both sides were at fault with how the Darla-situation turned out. Angel should have told his friends about the dreams and the A.I. team should have *listened* to their friend a bit more without grumbling about Darla.

>The writers just like they are doing with Angel for
>some reason will not acknowledge responsibility

You know, Blue, I think maybe they will address Angel's culpability in all of this. Then again, the writers and the fans have invested into Angel being this great hero to the point that anything he does for the A.I. team is right and anything he does for Darla is wrong, especially during the Dear Boy-The Trial period.

>IMHO this "superhero" direction is a mistake.

I nearly rolled my eyes when Fred said that Cordelia was a warrior, like Angel. Cordy's a hero in that she uses her supernatural gifts to help people, but not a super-hero.

>I think that's the major issue with me is that

I liked Cordelia before because she was

>but still could be at some point.

Cordelia was the most human in Season 1 Angel and I wish she continued with that feel. In AtS Season 3, she almost feels un-human. I wish that she could at lesast start developing her own life outside Angel Investigations. heck, all of them could use stronger ties to the human world.

>Believe me. I'm not trying to find fault with the
>character.

I get what you're saying Blue. if anything, Cordy should start learning to really define herself. Unlike her former classmates in Sunnydale, Cordy hasn't been given the chance to explore other options besides being Vision Girl since she moved to L.A. Cordy's in her twenties on the show, this is the age where people start trying for independence and finding a career. Cordy hasn't done either of those things and in a quiet, subtle way, it's stunting her growth.

>I think if anything I can see Darla doing good for her
>baby, but not for the well being of mankind. She
>might come around to that but I doubt it. I have to
>see more.

I do, too. I think Darla, if things go well, can start learning to love by loving her child and maybe doing good for it, but she doesn't have to be the Caped Avenger.

The writers did point out that Fred knows a lot of science and it wouldn't surprise me if she knew a lot about childbirth.
