It's interesting that you bring Heartthrob up. Neither Angelus or Darla were able to love at that time. We saw Darla abandon Angelus in the barn and him give up her whereabouts in Heartthrob. I definitely agree concerning the Darla versions.

In my heart, I think when Darla looks upon her child for the first time she'll be overwhelmed with emotion and probably majorly conflicted. She's never felt true love in her life and for the first time she'll get that from her child. She'll experience something for the first time she desperately wanted but won't know how to react.

That baby is going to be truly a gift to her.

Redefinition showed that she still carries The Trial with her, and I always wondered how she'd react if Angel did fall in love with her. Alas though, I think the baby will be like Dawn is to Spike yet on a deeper level since the child is her's.

It's a good policy but I don't follow it all of the time. Whenever I read those comments I recognize the names and their shipper affiliation and try to leave it at that. Other times I just blow a gasket because they were the same ones complaining last season about the lack of resolution for the Darla arc or "I wish D&D were back."

Make up your freaking mind.

The A/C crowd is why I and a few others left the ASSB. We spoke up for Darla and got chewed out for it. There were other instances I don't want to bring up that involved them, so as you can see I have no love for that ship or them. When it comes to Darla I guess people say some of the cruelest things just to make themselves feel better, but there's no reason to be obnoxious about it or overbearing when someone disagrees with you.
