Yeah, Pilgrim Soul reminded me below that usually the first episode of the season focuses on a theme that gets repeated throughout the year. I guess "needing to be loved" is it. Angel should definitely get that from the baby, I'm thinking.

Heartthrob and now this episode and this season

Very true and I have no idea what that means. Heard that Angel's going to a dark place and maybe that involves doing whatever he can to protect the baby?
