Black and white violently stirred together,
lurching, struggling in a thousand little
internal battles for survival without end.
She tries to form a shell over her private life,
hoping he will start to slide off of her,
but he is her drug, addiction and high.
They tattoo the night with their fight,
twilight police visits, flashing lights
announce another absorbtion.
You better believe she needs to leave,
but he said he'd take the kids,
maybe a prank, but she can't take the chance.

Black and white cars pull up to the apartment,
tattooed with little holes and full of smoke.
