Subject: ***OHW CONTEST OPENED!!!!! INSIDE FOR CRITERIA AND DURATION!!!***

Welcome to AngelOfire's OHW contest!!~~

Here is the criteria for this OHW! Please read carefully as this one entails a bit more detail than those in the past.

construct a poem, any style, any size that contains ALL of the following:

~~the words:
shocking
mermaid
scented

~~the phrases:
"the irony of you"
"not close enough"
"please fly away"

~~and the following references / mention the concept in some form (you are creative, you can do it!!):

hazy gray
hot as hell
eaten alive

ok........
go for it you brilliant minded poets!!~~

since this one is a bit more involved, it will run until 8:00pm CST Thursday, September 27th. At that time (give or take a few mins!), the board will be locked and the winner announced afterwards!!
