Subject: anggun on being SEXY Author: brennan [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 09:45:24 02/28/02 Thu Author Host/IP: 203.106.249.7 urmm i dont know how to start this, but from what i heard and read, anggun is a fussy artist when it comes to clothing and the way she dress up.for example she was bash by malaysian journalist because she refused to wear local designer dress for a photo shoot in 'female magazine'.And i read that she said something like this"at the end of the day its me on stage, in the public" so its her choice to wear what kinda dress she should wear.i dont know either that statement was refering to 'cheap' dress or sexy revealing dress.Because obviously during mtvasia awards she honestly admit that she didnt feel comfortable wearing that cleavage bearing dress.She try to cover it up using the result card for god sake!.its funny for me because if she dont feel ready to be sexy like JLO than why did she wear that dress and tell everyone that she hates it?well she wear tank tube sometimes thats even more sexy.or maybe she didnt feel confident enough to wear that dress cause of her 'compact' size of her breast?.Well anggun my advice is if ur not ready to be sexy.dont go there.be confident with ur own body.ok? Subject Author Date I read about it too. We have to remember we don't know much about Anggun and who she really is. However, she keeps saying she doesn't want to present herself in traditional outfits. It is the artist's choice to decide finally how to dress. That decision has been critizised for it was considered she was looking down on her Asian background. I don't think it is the case, but again only her could explain. As for her last dress, she didn't say she hated it, did she, just that she felt uncomfortable. IT is honest to admit it, since it hasn't been her way so far to presetn herself. But maybe she just loved the dress and wanted to have a try. Anyway, Anggun will hopefully never be another JLo, thank God !
