- Antoine Gouiffres-Yan is very enthusiastic about Anggun ; I'm not sure about the results so far, but it took René Angelil (Céline Dion) a great deal of enthusiasm and patience to really develop Celine Dion. Maybe this collaboration (that I haven't listened to yet) isn't as good as could have been expected, as long as AGY believes in her, we can be assured he'll do his best to develop her. - Yes, AGY is part of the Sony Music machinery, like there has been many people part of this before him but who didn't do as much for her, and also like there are many people (if not all ?) working in all music industry whose job is to sell their product. I doubt Anggun would participate to a project in which she doesn't fully commit, but she can also be badly advised. Nonetheless, for the part I have heard, I admit that song doesn't meet the expectations we could have ! I like the part sung in Indonesian, but not really the chorus that sounds strange. - And the name of this movie Anggun has recorded songs for is called "Open Hearts" and has been directed by Suzanne Bierto. Too bad you don't write more often to let us know and explain us why there isn't any INTERNATIONAL website, btw. Anyhow, this movie you were talking about will sadly be released in Scandinavia, which means very few of us will have an access to it, but be assured most of us will find a way to get her songs (and even buy them, isn't that great) ! :-) Anggun had said in an interview on CNN Talk Asia very lately that her deadline was end of 2002 for her upcoming album, well, we'll wait until 2003, as long as she does a good job : write the songs for her, first. - Stop wasting your time with those, Brennan and just clean up your forum, so that they don't come back. When they get tired seeing their posts disappearing, they won't come back ! We regularly have such unwanted visitors, that's a fact. Anyway, because Anggun was very famous in Indonesia, she had a lot of (faithful and supportive) fans, but she also gained a few haters ! And haters will be just haters. that have nothing else to do than waste other people's pleasure. Anggun doesn't have much haters in France, or rest of Europe because indeed, she's not too famous. The more falmous you get, the more haters you get too (generally, sad jealous losers who can't find ahppiness in their life so make other's pay for it). Meanwhile, she seems to be living it quite ok, because she's just living her dream (she has built her own destiny). But she does get support in Indonesia as each time she releases something there, it becomes a hit ! Which is not systematically the case in Europe.
