This second sighting was different in most aspects to the first. It happened in 1998 and a group maybe 10 of us 16 - 19 years old were spending several hours at Hill Cliffe Appleton/Walton part of Warrington. Our party was situated
at the bottom of the steepest part of the hill where on top of the hill has a new house built. We were generally facing North, North West and towards Walton Hall Gardens and Daresbury Laboratory/Moore. The Golf course was right next to us.
Whilst drinking and becoming intoxicated at night (I don't know what time but it was dark in the middle of summer time so it may be between 00:00 - 01:00. I don't know for sure!) a few of us and especially myself noticed a flying object in the distance towards Daresbury/Moore. We were just watching it because it was something to watch and not much else. The speed of this aircraft hadn't looked unusual and nothing else did. The only thing was that a second aircraft was following its rear at a faster pace. It was a lot faster but not blindingly fast. I don't think or I can't remember if there was any sound coming from these aircraft but the second was chasing and catching up with the one in front. It did!
Now then this part caught our eyes! Not all of us saw this but probably 6 or 7 seven of us did! The first aircraft may have stopped completely or continued to fly in it's own direction and again I am not sure. The most important thing was that none of us had never seen another craft fly around in a circle over another aircraft 2 - 4 times at the very most and then fly off in its direction that it was going anyway. This is what the second craft did to the first craft.
The first craft was deinately not going in its direction before this enciclement took place but what it seemed to do whilst the second aircaft was flying away quickly but as I say not at a blinding pace, was that it halted in the air motionless to us. We couldn't tell exactly what it was doing at this point exactly because it was at fair distance but perhaps 20 or 30 seconds after the second craft encircled it several times it just seemed to fall to earth slowly but it looked as though it was engulfed in flames and just began to fall.

Had any other person seen either of these two incidents? More importantly can anyone explain what they were and who?
