The dark one raised his head, water droplets falling from his muzzle as he looked about with endless eyes of darkness seeking out the one who'd spoken to him. His tail flicked about behind him, tendrils lightly brushnig against his underbelly. The light of the rising sun was playing across his dark fur making him seem a bit unreal. When his gaze finally settled upon her, he watched her a moment before taking the few steps across the stream, the water swirling with the dust of his travels. He stood just a bit from her looking over her slick form, nostrils flaring taking in her scent. He lowered himself down on one knee, his other foreleg stretched out before him as he bowed his head low, nose almost touching the ground, grass tickled his lips just a little. A tentative mind touch was felt as he reached out to her.
~Forgive my intrusion, my lady.~
His voice even in mind was accented with a quiet strength.
