A lone form walked very slowly nearing the water's edge, her nose hung low almost touching the ground. The stench of blood, sweat, and panic hung around her form. Warm tan fur had been stained with blood that was still running over already dried parts matted into her fur. Pieces of skin hung in tatters off her rump, shoulder, back and legs. Her eyes were half-closed as she fell to her knees roughly, back legs collapsing beneath her. She gave a quiet grunt before lifting her muzzle and drinking thirstily at the river's clear depths. Her horn's luster had faded as had the sparkle in her eyes. The crimson that ran from her wounds was slowly seeping into the grass staining it as well.
