I don't know what the SWP line is on this. But I would have thought that it was more to do with prosecuting only the people that don't fit into the West's club of approved leaders. The case with Milosevic is that the effort taken to get him in custody is completely at odds with Western policy with other genocidal leaders around the world. We arm them and train their military. Because Milosevic doesn't do what we want, we try to put him away.
The other problem with the Milosevic genocide thing is that no mass graves were actually found, the Spainish investigators finished their expidition early because there were no graves and even the FBI were sent across and came home empty handed. I don't think Milosevic is even being tried for that, he's on charges of killing around 300 people I think. (although I'll have to look that up).

And when are we bringing George Bush or other senior US leaders to trial for the massacre of 2000 Taliban POWs in Afghanistan? Unarmed, loaded in containers, shot and then buried alive if they'd survived that.

So the reason I think they would be pro-Milosevic would probably be something to that effect. Because western leaders are just as bad.

My opinion isn't the same as theirs though, and going on the march does not mean I have anything to do with the SWP anyway.

Tony Blair is a socialist. They don't support him.

Good! Religion does not equal cultural diversity.

And the marches are actually organised by the Stop The War Coalition which is comprised if dozens of NGOs and unions. The SWP are there, but not actually in a huge capacity. Infact there are probably hundreds of groups there. Are you telling me that becuase a couple of thousand of people out of a million were there for the SWP that it makes everyone's reasons for marching invalid?

>Ok lets move on to some the extremist muslim groups

Well obviously extremist Muslims aren't representative of moderate muslims. They wouldn't be extremist then.

Well, then thats their view. It was called a Stop The War march, not a "Stop All Wars" march. If they want to start a war against the US, UK, Israel or whoever - then that's their choice. I don't agree with them, but I'm not going to stop them saying it. This march was about the war in Iraq and Palestine.

>They are also fircelly anti semitic and their

I haven't actually received any anti-Semetic literature. There have been some signs that I wouldn't agree with being branded around though. But on the whole I learnt a lot more about Israel than before. I didn't know that the US gave them between $6,000,000,000 - $10,000,000,000 of aid a year. Infact, I think this year they received $12,000,000,000 for the continued war on terror. That's half the defence budget for the UK. Would that be the kind of anti-semetic material you were talking about?
