She held back the smile that was tugging at her lips--his anger only intrigued her further...so there was someone beneath the cool mask--lowering her head and forcing her expression into a solemn, apologetic one. "Yes, you are very correct, it was unwise to act so recklessly, but I saw only one coyote with you and thought it safe enough to try and wait over here." She explained, lifting her eyes to meet his, hoping he was not too angry at her. "I am sorry to have interrupted you, if it is inconvenient I will go?"
