Subject: Patriotism versus nationalism.

Unless we pay close attention to how we choose to react to the wake-up call which occurred on 9-11, we may be re-acting more nationalistically then patriotically. Not knowing the difference between the two... or that there is one... places you feet perilously close to the road of exclusion.

If you kill a member of my family, calling it an "act of war" may simply be my creation of a justification for my desire to take revenge on you for the pain that I feel.

If an All-Knowing God deigned that people die exactly as they do, would that be of any comfort to us?

Timely to Him, but untimely to us.

Or would we be angry at Him for the untimely pain that we feel?
