Subject: The Sky Within Me

One of the greatest pleasures of living in Nevada is a sky that is cloudless and blue most of the year.

For when I take the time to become and feel it for a while, the boundary-less sky outside of me becomes the boundary-less sky within me.

And within a few minutes drive from Las Vegas, you can bring your self to a place that is totally sound-less... the desert.

Sound-lessness is not silence, however.

One is the absence of sound; the other, a meeting with your essence.

Ever since I was a young pup, I believed that... a man who cannot feel comfort-able with silence... is a man who cannot feel comfort-able... with his self.

I guess that is why confort-ableness with silence has become a litmus test for someone to become an intimate friend of mine.
