Whatever I create, I also create its opposite. For "what is" is defined by "what is not", just like the inside is defined by its outside and vica versa.

Whenever I create "I am happy to be me", for example, I also create "I am not happy to be me". The experience of one necessitates the other to co-exist.

Which one of the complementary belief/experiences you experience as personally "real" for you... will depend on the quality of creative or source-originating attention you place on it.

Nonetheless, you cannot create one without creating the other.

Creations are essentially definitions. And to define, you need the complementary dance of "what is" and "what is not."

One of the neatest things that I dis-covered in my journeys as a headless biker is...

whenever I create anything... be it awaringly or not... a creation of mine ("I") is creating another creation (whatever that may be)... or a definition of mine ("I") is defining another definition (you guessed it, whatever that may be too).

That's like a sculptor who creates a sculpture which creates other sculptures.

*laughs*

In case you thought that you were a sculptor creating many sculptures.

Here's a neat little execise to play with that can reveal some interesting things.

The next time that you are feeling some very strong feelings or emotions, imagine that what you are feeling is a storm that has an eye in its center... and that the eye is an incrediblly peaceful space or place.

Bring yourself to the eye. Feel yourself there. Note the storm in all its fury around you, but you are centered in the eye.

That is your home.
