"Forgive me for asking so bluntly, however, I was under the impression that these lands were not in 'our' possession, but that of the lady Esmeralda. While I agree with your suggestions, it is necessary that we do not alienate the locals - and that includes the fair lady. As well, I am rather at a loss to understand all that has gone on here - no one has given me a full accounting as yet. Perhaps you would be so willing to speak of what has come to pass here in recent days?"
