"Ah, yes, that might be in order." Lucas pauses and scratches his chin.
"We arrived here... last week. It seems like an eternity. We were expecting to meet with Lord Valenza about establishing a covenant here at the villa. What we found was his keep laid waste, and the inhabitants butchered. No clues were evident as to who might have done the foul deed.
"Gabriel, through his arts, later discovered that the attackers had cloaked themselves in secrecy so that even the eyes of the dead could give no clues. Whoever organized the attack must have known something of the magical arts in order to foresee that possibility.
"We came here to the Villa and discovered Lady Valenza, daughter and heiress of the late Lord. She is now, I suppose, Lord Valenza. She survived, along with her handmaiden and a local priest. We have nominally appointed her as Autocrat of the covenant, to deal with mundane affairs.
"Our first evening here, we investigated the ampitheatre because of the music coming from that area. There we encountered King Lus of the faerie court of bright summer. He was celebrating a victory over his enemies. His nemesis, a large rat, was banished to the dark realms of Arcadia. The rat's flunkies were paraded before the King in chains, and marched right off the edge of the cliff.
"Later Santos and Heratio discovered a pile of dead snakes and frogs below the cliff. From the number of bones, it was determined that this strange event has occurred before. There were also bones of rabbits and squirrels, among other woodland creatures.
"We've already discussed our findings at the ruined temple. We first discovered a room which contained some unusual statues. They appeared to be people who were frozen in time. Several of us went through a portal that looked to be extra-dimensional. On the other side, we found a room containing a sarcophagus.
"Heratio went through the same portal, and seemingly into the same room, but found a magical laboratory of some sort. Clearly this is some sort of magical regio. It is somehow connected with a Roman official and some nymphs. It's power does not appear to be Faerie, but Magical.
"A great white stag has twice appeared, once at the behest of King Lus in response to a request from Ximen. The priest has gone to take training, and to see about building a Church on the grounds of the stable and smithy."
Pondering again, he looks around the room. "Have I forgotten anything?"
