The leg crumples under him and he falls to the ground with a crash. He rolls over to his back and then his other side. He moved the injured leg finding able to move he sighed happily. Then he remembered the predicament he was in. He rolled to his other side and fumbled up tdo a standing position. His leg was not on the ground. His eyes were scared and he was coated in lather.

[> Careful Approach -- Josh, 13:14:24 01/29/02 Tue

After cleaning tack for long hours and hearing a sharp whistle of a equine that was not familar to this ranch he places the fancy western show saddle back on the rack and sets down the soap. Seeing the great ebon steed stand, blood stained his great flank and injured limb hung listless. Josh runs and grabs i few carrots and lasso and haulter with a leadshank. WAlking back carefully he unhooks the gate to the pasture that no other horses were currently in. Mac and joe were off with their studs. And the mares were already brought in for the day. He eyed the magnificant steed with wonder and looked closly at the great gash in his flank. *wolves* he mummered. Blood seemed to come from a gash in his fore as well. Carefully he approched the steed, eyes glaning at his shoudler and lasso in hand.

The stallion head went up as he tried to rear. His forefeet went up into the air but he crashed back down remembering his hurt leg. He bared his teeth and backed up a step, but stopped as pain washed through his legs.
