.. young stud wandered the bored of the terrain, dark shadow flickering twixt shadow and light . snort escaped his dilated nares as sharp optics passed quickly o'er the others . his ebon frame moved with stealth, falling into the grasping fingers of shadow . he excuded power with every step, agile appendages moving swift and pathless through the tall emerald loam . he watched the unicorns in silence, tapered auds flickering ere he became still . call sent forth from vocals, deep and clear to the lead stallion as the wind rifled his umber mane and cast his flaming tail round his haunches . silver horn glowed softly in the twilight hours, lighting the youthful features of his proud dial . he made no attempt to enter upon the stud's land uncalled for, but asked permission, for beyond the dark menacing look of his exterior his heart and soul were pure ..

.. one dubbed Firenze dipped black cranium with respect for the leads, for he was but a wanderer seeking out a place to live . centuries of warrior blood coursed his veins, and black frame of steel bulged with sinew and muscle but for neither did he care - he would let his blood drain dry and his muscle be torn ere harm be laid upon any of pure heart . once more he bent head low, horn touching the coppice earth 'fore he straightened and waited 'pon th' other's reaction ..
