Be strong now Don. You didn't want this; I don't want this, nobody I�ve ever knew in my life wanted this. But I'm afraid this is inevitable. My little circle of friends and discussion partners just knew that there is no mistaken the emotions these attacks have set free in the western world. Even in people that are far more peace loving then I will ever be, there was the sense of �this cannot be forgotten�. This cannot be passed by, whatever your mental convictions. They�ve told me, as they maybe told you.
The Bush administration will and cannot let this attack on innocent life pass by without retaliation. Lets just hope there is no reason to draw comparisons with the �assassins and the old man up the mountain� because this would bring to live our darkest expectations. I believe I know your darkest expectations are being fed by these comparisons, please don�t go there, there is still no reason to do so.

As I�m writing this CNN discusses the use of nuclear weapons by either antagonists. Is this for real?
God, what world do we live in? Just imagine you have children.

Don, forgive my less than astute use of English, but I wanted you to know there are more people that are concerned (if ever you liked an understatement).

Say hallo to your mother, if I�ve understood correctly she is Dutch, or at least, was in the Netherlands during the Nazi-occupation. There�s a lot you can learn from these people if you are willing to listen.
