Hi Ventsi,

What I did with this map was this:

One block with 40 townhouses on the plateau. Within this block is the palace and the stadium. Right behind is Aphrodites sanctuary and on the other side (to the north) is two granaries and two warehouses. In the center plain is two mixed blocks each with 18 townhouses and 8 estates (back to back). Just beside that (towards north) is Hades sanctuary and above that an L-shaped housing block between the marble and the sanctuary getting supplies from the plateau. Wine, fleece and wheat in the meadows area. Southwest all other industry, armory, sculpture and olive oil together with 2 horse ranches. To the south east a very small block with about 15 townhouses.
The trade posts for Taras and Sparta is right a the entry point to max out exports, with a warehouse right next by to accept requests of sculptures.

As for the money, this is what I did:

Free deletes and roads. Avoid mistakes, replacements etc.
Conquered Sparta in April 2495 and managed max export of wine in all 6 years. Never bought any olives but survived on requests from Taras and Sparta (this was the toughest part and the reason all houses where not filled, due to lack of olive oil a couple of times). Raided Olympia and the other city (don't remember the name) until the became allied. Then gifted them with fish, urchins, marble and whatever I had (never Olive oil). Made sure Hades would either turn right and bless the tax offices in my estate blocks or turn left and bless the six mints I had right below his sanctuary. Make sure to check if he is ready to listen to your praiers (I think maybe three times) he will grant you 3-4000 dr every time. The last two years, I raided my allies for money a few times, just make sure they don't hade you so much they stop trading with you. They do get really mad !! Taxes between high and outragous (mainly very high) depending on the town mood.

It is the last 3-4 years that really bring in the money. Those years I had a profit of 45-50,000 drachmers each year with a breakdown that looked a bit like this:

Taxes 40,000 dr
Exports 6,800 dr
Mints 1,600 dr
Gifts 8,000 dr

Wages - 8,000 dr
