I have gone through e1, here's to recap:

Finished in two yrs. It was not possible for me to finish in a yr, since harvest of grapes is in October and unless you have sizable wine industry up and running, i was not able to produce 24 amph of wine in the first yr.

I have 56 homesteads on the plateau on the left.
10 wineries, 4 growers lodge, and 48 tile grapevine.
wheat farm and urchin quay feeds 4304, 3 carding sheds.

Gifts of 16 amph wine to Sparta yield request of 9 jugs of olive oil, a rather unfair exchange IMHO, :).

Started out both sanctuaries on the top left corner near the quarry (Athena for Olives and Aphrodite - space constraints and tax)

Since the Armory is not available in e1, left the Minataur alone and summoned Thesseus in e2.

Am currently on E2. Here what i have so far:

All houses evolved to Tenement, Aphrodite's Sanc is complete , and tax is Very high.
Have started on one block of 9 elite houses on the lower right corner. placed college and drama school on one extreme end so philosophers and actors will pass through houses to the theathre and podium on the straight (16) elite housing in the center.

will finish e2 and post results tomorrow. :)
