I started conquering other cities January 2494.

I was able to conquer Sparta, Calydon and Taras, but not Olympia (shield level went up to 3 before i could) with about 2 horsemen troop, 4 hoplite company (total of 49 soldiers) and Hercules.

However, unrest becomes a problem with so much military activity and i had muggers running around the city thieving and well..mugging :|

By the end of yr 2490, Taras was rebelling, Calydon was annoyed and Sparta was insurbodinate. No amount of gifts was able to coax them back to being loyal.

I will try another run midway with just conquering Sparta and leaving Ally Taras and Calydon alone.
