Not too long ago there was a family just like that in my little church. They made life miserable for all, but especially the Pastor. It took 4 years to finally get that family to leave. The mother was a real talented lady but had her own agenda. They worked with the youth but tried to be God and not let certain youth participate in drama, or other actvities. It was a real mess. I can sympathize with you.
The Pastor and deacons all met with this family and let them know up front that thier behavior was not acceptable and that God required a certain order for His church. If the behavior didn't stop they would have to leave the church. They were also told that they were wanted in the church but only if they could follow the authority of leadership.

Thanks for your words it is like you described my church problem exactly, but the one good thing is my wife and myself lead the youth but the two kids of the mom that is wanting to take over the church are still rebelling every sun. morning . My wife talked to one of the other youth and the daughter of the mom has been telling the other kids that their parents should be in charge of the youth,but thank god the old youth pastor handed us the raines and the senior pastor stood behind his choice we really get along with our pastor and we love him this is just a huge wall to growth in the church because this family has their own agenda and they will try anything to get their way , the one thing that really bothers me more than all the mess is that with these two kids acting this way it is effecting all the other kids in such a negative way, the youth dept. is focused on them and not the LORD, but I guess thats the whole plan, for this evil spirit that has taken over this family to take the focus off god and his will and cause choas and division.
