Went to praise journal and and got very proud message it was hacked by SATUS.COM ????Even tho I have no posts since joining in 03 this membership and site has been a rock for me. I don't know about others but you folks with the talent and gift of using your keyboard in communicating Gods Word and giving your veiws on issues help greatly. I would suggest that we as a whole put our prayers to work helping the ones that are working manually to restoring our site.It is very discouraging when looking for a window to run into a blank wall. Ken

Hi

The message board going down from time to time happens, and us old timers of the UCFM don't get to worried about it. It happens -- no big deal.

I am NOT a web-site ADMIN of the "New" message board, only this one. So I personally could not comment on why its down. I understand the "open source" phpBB Message Board System has been hacked along with many servers who's clients use it. I hope UCFM and its "server" has not been a victim of this also. I don't think so, I think its something else and the message board will be fixed soon.

I do know that the UCFM moved from this message board to the new phpBB one because its so much better -- and I agree!

This message board really has NO membership controls and was from time to time attacked by people posting porn pictures and saying all sorts of nasty things.
To help stop this, Sr. Pastor Fred gave me ADMIN access and I agreed to visit this board almost daily to make sure no such posts are made. If so, I delete the post ASAP and I then manually ban the person by way of their IP Address. I also make a complaint to their ISP as an abuser. I do this each and every time, its something I always follow through on.

May I suggest that you contact both "Fred's" about being hacked. I tried to check out staus.com but was refused entry . I them did a domain name check and found it was taken. I then did a WhoIs search and found this:

networksolutions.com is a hosting company and if I had the ISP of the person who hacked you we could track this abuser down and report them to this hosting company -- Just a though! I would also have to have the entire message and the Address of the message. Hosting company�s want everything (all information) when making a report of an abuser! We don�t need to do this right now if this was only a one time thing.

Until then please bookmark this website/message board and feel free to enjoy it.

This is something out of my league, but something SR. Fred should report to his web-site server ASAP.

The website was not "Status.com" so the INFO I posted above is mute. The hack is from "wwwatusroot.net", I will have to check them out. With this kind of hack the UCFM server/host should step and help out!
