I must admit I struggled for years with the concept of Christ like works (as with the Law) to be pleasing to God and simply standing in and being in the "Grace of God". For I am no longer under the Law. I my case, the Law is always slipping in to destroy the mind set of my position as being in the "Grace of God". That is completely apart from the Law.
