come on. get real. you expect the "CHURCH" to discern holiness when it can't even honor Jesus' prayer for unity?

how many times have you heard that the "CHURCH" is the "invisible" "mystical" "spiritual" body of Christ, but Jesus himself said that you cannot hide a city on a hill, nor hide a lamplight under a bushel basket. the "CHURCH". the mystical body of Christ, is the light and salt in this world, it is ONE, HOLY, APOSTOLIC, ***VISIBLE*** church, and THERE IS NO SALVATION OUTSIDE OF IT. (if you believe this, then you are a CATHOLIC Christian, no matter what denomination you belong to.)

let all men be liars, yet GOD is true.

if anyone were really concerned where the church is headed, they would avoid cultists like Rick Warren and his ilk, and head straight to any communion in the historic apostolic succession (not necessarily Roman Catholic, where I ended up) and get in line with the historic "faith, as revealed once and for all to the saints," apart from any traditions that developed in the last 600 years, long after the time of the church fathers (be they neo-gnostic, monophysite/Nestorian, eastern, lutheran, (ana-)baptist, mennonite, amish, presbyterian, congregationalist, methodist, quaker, mormon, disciple, 7th-day adventist, nazarene, holiness, reformed, christian science, watchtower, fundamentalist, neo-evangelical, etc.)

if you think these beliefs condemn me to Hell, then I'll see you in Hell. But of course, I do not, I cannot believe that; rather any errors I express may at worst lead to Purgatory, the place of Cleansing; in that case, I hope to see you there, in the gentle, loving arms of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus, as he corrects the imperfections in understanding we carry forward from this world, prior to out final entry into his rest (cf. Hebrews). "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." (cf. I Cor.13:12)

I don't know about all that rant but unity for the sake of unity isn't GOD ordained unity. I'm not a catholic christian as if there were such a thing. If the chrurch the (ecclesia) get your greek dict. , can discern whether the people they vote into a pastoral position can't have enough of the HOLY SPIRIT to tell them this man is a homosexual then we are in trouble. The problem is the fallen church of today VOTES men into the office of pastor instead of having men called by GOD to lead the church. And as far as Rick Warren if the people really think he is a true man of GOD because he sells books . then I don't know what to say He is a fraud period. He will come out soon anyway. The house will fall and is falling but the remnant will rise from the wreckage and re-build the alter which is the cross that has been broken down by the people but until the revelation of JESUS CHRIST and HIM crucified is revealed a-fresh there will be no GOD ordained unity.
