首先，很多謝這位校友的留言，使我們有機會加深對校歌的認識；又多謝John Ng為我們預備了那麼方便的澳洲國歌的link；也多謝心雲提供了很多有關歌曲創作的資料，現在本人也將本人明查暗訪所得，與各位關心濟記的朋友分享：
1. 若就John Ng提供的link所聽到的旋律，我們的校歌與它的旋律相近的地方就只有"Of many glorious years in store, A song to sound"這不夠三個Bar的地方。根據伍仲衡校友（專業作曲家）給我提供的資料說，縱使完全相同而不是相近，也要抄錄四個Bar以上方算侵權。
2. 我們的校歌的前身是上海聖芳濟書院六十周年校慶(1934年，距今已有67年)的紀念歌，由此推算，此曲創作之年份應在1934年或以前。未知它與澳洲國歌的創作年份相距多遠。但根據伍校友所言，縱是兩位作曲家互不相識，身處兩地，不約而同寫出近似的旋律也並不是罕見的事。
3. 以本人愚見，澳洲國歌予人莊嚴穩重的感覺，而且較短；濟記校歌予人的感覺是興奮激情，而且較長，兩者的mood很不相同。
最後，校歌有云：「A song to sound from shore to shore。」今校友君在馬場也依稀聽到這句校歌的歌聲，不是很應景嗎？
本人忽發奇想：有邊位校友發左達，養番隻馬，取其名曰「濟記之光」之類，當勝出頭馬之時，在凱旋門拍照，全場肅立，齊場SFX School Song，那場面一定很感人！
發夢完畢，深宵工作去也！
