Farnarkle,

I could not help but notice the story of how the Winston Churchill got a pelican stuck in his left ear. It reminded me of the time I had a walrus chase me through the underground. But of course that’s not the point, what really bothers me is wax. Have you seen George lately? He came by my flat last week and we painted toothpicks. Looking forward to your next weeks lesson.

Lester,

Funny you should mention George, because it reminds of the time I was climbing Mount Everest. There I was dangling on a rope, 20,000 feet up, while my butler was serving me tea and hot buttered scones for morning tea. I was just about to remark that we only had a choice of three jams, and where did the blackcurrant go, when I noticed we were using the boat shaped toast holder. I remember using that same toast holder on an African safari. There we were surrounded by dozens of hungry maneating lions, and I was just about to pour the tea, when it was discovered we were out of scones. Well we had to pack up and head back to Potter's bakery in Worthington Lane. Some might think a 6,000 mile journey taking two week is too much for scones, but my motto is "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush".

Another exciting high-tech adventure next week.

Farnarkle,

I thought it was Mount Kilamanjaro, hanging on a branch with the lions all about. George said the raspberry or currant jam was salty and refused to eat any. But I digress the wine was excellent as was the bottle rack, except when it was empty.

Does Potters still make the lemon biscuits, I was so fond of them when diving off the cliffs in Fiji for halibut.

Well I must really round up my thoughts now, OOPS there goes one now. I have to go now as the ship is sailing to Ohio for the whale watch and lard festivals in 2009.

Having a really good time since the epidemic and will be by to see you tomorrow.

Lester,

Look forward to your visit.

Potters still make the lemon biscuits, though they have of lately started adding an anchovy for flavour - personally I love it.

Never been halibut diving in Fiji, but I did go fishing for seagulls in the Canary Islands once.

A friends birthday party coming up in six months time, so I thought I would iron my shirt and get ready. The present is ready too - got a nice salmon hanging in the closet - bought it last week - should go down a treat.

I'm off to finish the coat I am crocheting for my friend's gold fish. I was a bit worried at first, but I think the color is just right now.

Fribbles the feret sends his regards. He has just had breast implants, and ... well, quite frankly the whole thing has me confused.

Farnarkle,

The news about Fribbles in indeed troubling, reminds me of the expedition to Borneo for the annual Gerbil hunt. There we were surrounded by Eskimos, suddenly a barrage of 30mm eggbeaters was launched from HQ into a nearby valley.

Adding an anchovy for flavour, what will Potters come up with next? Although I did have their shortbread with squirrel butter which I found to my liking.

Just found the receipt for the walking stick, it was in my trouser pocket all the time. Pleasantly surprised the dry cleaner did not loose it when I hung them in the tree outside his shop.

There has been a slight change of plan, so my impending visit will have to be postponed till last week or even a fortnight ago.
