Subject: UFO Poem

I saw a distant UFO, at least I think it was one, you know.
It was shaped like a disc, and moving quite brisk, from the exhaust was a bluey-green glow. It shot cross` the sky, I waved it goodbye then retired with a sigh and muttered to myself.. F*ck me that thing can fly!

Well young man, I can see your problem, Grimsby you say? There was a ophthalmologist in Grimsby who was a rather odd chap as I recall. Both farsighted in the left eye and nearsighted in the right, to make matters worse he suffered from dyslexia. To make matters even worse his stuttering was completely unintelligible. The Royal Ophthalmological Society eventually had to have him removed to an atoll in the Pacific for everyone’s well being.

PS- How fast was it going?

Was the ophthalmologist`s name Isaac Seymore-Clearly? Only i`m sure I had my hearing tested by the said same gentleman many years ago. Oddly enough he was so short-sighted (as I recall) he stuck the ophtalmists implement in my left ear instead of my right EYE. He prescribed me reading glasses for my ears and an hearing aid for my athlete`s foot! He stuttered like crazy except when it came to telling me his fee which was £75.00.

~Did you hear about the dyslexic guy who walked into a bra?~

Judging by the distance of the spacecraft in question and other relevant factors, such as: wind speed, cloud shapes and densities, sun-dazzle element, objective-subjective viewpoint etc, at the time of the sighting I would give an educated guess of the approximate speeed of said craft of around 4,767.7 KPH (give or take a KPH or two)

Finally;-
I have been asked by family and friends whether I could have been mistaken and that the craft in question COULD in fact have been of human origin? I would say definitely NOT!
The speed, shape, and alien`s belligerant `V sign` through the coppit window leaves me in no doubt whatoever that this was a close encounter of some sort with something not of this planet.

I`m fascinated to learn more about your remarkable experience
Jim. Did the spacecraft have any visible markings at all?
My next questions, was the shape of the craft similar to an upturned frying pan and did the alien have any facial or head hair, or, was he/she/it as bald as a coot?

You say the alien gave you a V sign, how did you comprehend this to be an act of aggresion and was the alien`s fingernails manicured?

The spacecraft did`nt have any visible markings as I recall but it was going at some considerable speed.
The reason I knew that the alien was hostile was because he gave a very "viscious" up-down motion V sign gesture. He also mouthed an obscenity at me, I can`t be certain but it was along the lines of "Earthling scum, you`ll get yours".. etc etc. I did take a digital photo of the strange craft but my camera-phone was mysteriously stolen some weeks after the incident.

It sounds like a definite close encounter with beings from another galaxy if you ask me. Based on your very eloquent description i`d say that there were probably 3, maybe 4, occupants onboard the spacecraft, possibly more males than females, and that they were all super-intelligent. I have had telepathic "conferences" with these individuals in the past so i`m talking from a distinct vantage point so to speak..

When I was a young girl in my early teens I saw a strange light in the sky - It was a Macdonalds sign - but that`s another story. Anyway, just above that sign was hovering a huge alien spacecraft. Strange as it may seem I was`nt at all scared, as the beings smiled mysteriously and laser-beamed me aboard. They told me that they had been watching our planet for many "grugrons" (years) and were worried that we were getting periously close to destroying "shizhenhizen" (Earth) and the human race with it!

Using their remarkable telepathic powers they told me that we had to come together as a people and work as one to rid our planet of our common enemy. please finish...
