I just want to say it was very embarassing and my testicles are still sore.
Of course the vacuum cleaner is stored that way in the janitor's closet for a reason. I mean, how else would you store it. You put the attachments on the shelf and lean the pipe bit against the wall, open side up.
It was only after I had plugged it in, inside the closet, that I found out just how powerful it was. I mean, it sucked my equipment clean out of my trousers and there I was stuck. No amount of pulling would get it off.
I pulled and pulled, and what should happen, but the janitor opened the door. I tried to explain to the janitor that it was an honest mistake, but even after he switched the cleaner off, I still couldn't pull it off and we had to call the fire brigade.
Well they tried to get it off, but even with all that lubricant in the pipe it was still stuck, so they had to cut it off. And then the surgeons had to sew it back on.
Oh, the indignity of it all. Two weeks recuperation and testing in the hospital, with all those snide remarks from the nurses about the time a gerbil, ran up my ... well lets not bring that up again.
