(He tipped his head as he looked at her, knowing that she was stressed, tired and crabby.. but for the life of him he didnt know what to do to make it better. He was doing the best that he could, and that was all he could do. He was trying to figure out what to do all around.. he had Gia in the middle of some situation in Bangkok, a partner who had almost died, he didnt know where the heck Haylie was and now there was the possibility that a virus was in their apartment.) I need to get some water to him.. he's pretty doped up right now. (He motioned for one of the medical team to come over.) I need you to take blood samples from both of them, test for the virus. (He turned back to Shay then, and put his arm around her back as he led her towards where his quarters were.) I had my old quarters cleaned out and prepped for you guys, there is a comfortable bed in there, you can tend to Chase in there with privacy and I will be there as soon as I see to Kyrian. (He stopped outside the door to the quarters, which were across from where Kyrian lay prone and next to where Haylie was also prone.)

She had really thought that she could handle this - his career and all that. She thought she could be the cool, in control woman who could handle her husband being in danger and her friends nearly dying every other freaking day but now that it was actually happening she was having some second thoughts. At her husbands words, she just nodded, looking down at their son in her arms for a second. How was he going to live when he was older? Constantly wondering if Daddy, Uncle Kyrian or Aunt Haylie were going to be coming home. A low breath escaped her as she just nodded and stepped into the room, telling the agents where to put Chase's things before she offered a slight smile to Remy, though it obviously wasn't heartfelt, before she turned to head into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
