(He groaned.) Well, all of the above now that you mention it. (He looked over at her, watching her as the steroids slowly cleared his mind more nad more, like a kick to the immune system that he had desperately needed. What he didnt know was they they had created a bit of a concoction for him and had put adreneline into the syringe, which was giving him a boost of energy. He listened to her as she spoke, quiet eyes gazing at her. He knew that she didnt always approve of Remy's behavior, especially not of his attitude, but she didn't know Remy like he did.) He has a lot to deal with.. and he can't handle letting anyone down. It's just not in him to fail at anything, you've never seen him at the end of his rope, Haylie. When something close to his heart is in trouble he gets this intensity about him and he does things without thinking.. It's like it's not really him in there, its all autopilot. (He shook his head a little, letting out a breath as he thought about Remy and Shay and little Chase, is Godson.) He wouldn't have gone on that mission, Haylie, he would have tried and he wouldn't have been able to do it and it would have killed a little part of him. (He frowned.) This job is too much for him, it's going to kill him.
