(He took the baby from her as she shifted from him, cradling him close so that he could be warmed against his chest, his eyes following Shay as she moved to go get dressed.) We can go down and get something from the caf in a bit. (He murmured as he watched her, feeling horrible for what he had done to her and yet at the same time she moved him just by being her. He shifted Chase a little to reassure him as the baby started to fuss a little, but he settled back down and sighed.) It won't take long, I am sure you'll be able to go home tomorrow, sweety. (He didnt miss that she had said 'I can go home', instead of 'we'.. and it made him feel like he was defintiely in the doghouse. It wasnt fun being like him, having that intense side that just sort of took over sometimes.)
