• He actually had the day off - atleast didn't have any reason that he was supposed to be in there, but he had a whole load of nervous energy that he really kneaded to work off. The last couple days had been rough - totally up and down as he struggled with her words and his own pride - and even now he had no idea really what he was feeling or thinking. He had been on his way out back to go for a jog and then maybe run a couple courses, but Sullivan caught him as he passed his office. The man was on the phone but had still grumbled at him to come inside and have a seat and he would be with him in a moment. • She came in a moment later, holding a file - heels clicking on the tile. "This file isn't complete did Regan finish - " She paused as she saw Colin - swallowing softly before she forced a professional attitude, smiling briefly. "Black." She greeted before she turned back to Sullivan. "I'll come back later." She turned, heading back to her office - letting out a low breath as she sat down in her chair, running a hand over her head. • He glanced back at her, gaze lingering a moment before he slouched back into his chair to face his boss again - grumbling his response to her stiff greeting. "McLean." • She was now completely distracted her gaze on the file but she wasn't seeing anything accept for him. It had been a rough couple of days for her too. • When his boss finally wrapped up whatever it was that he was getting at - Colin still had no idea, as usual paying so little attention - all he heard was when the older man told him to take some things to her to go over. Sighing quietly, he padded softly into her office - he had been looking forward to a day without anything important to do, and was still buzzing with so much energy. She sighed softly before she saved the document she was working on and opened another program, opening up one of the files before she glanced to him - her eyes unusually guarded but still somewhat hesitant as they reached him. • She laughed lightly before she cleared her throat a bit. "Well..." She sighed softly, standing up and walking to the file cabinet - the suit flattering her figure perfectly. • A low sigh slipped from his parted lips as he took in her smile, brows gently furrowing and a hand moving slowly over his head. • He lingered there for a long moment before standing slowly and moving over to stand behind her for a moment. A hand smoothed her hair absently before he sigh quietly and stepped reluctantly away from her. "I should go get in my run atleast... • He pushed himself through a long, fast jog - his energy was fading but his mind was so distracted that he could have gone on much longer than he ended up going. • "Yeah, its been humid the past couple of days..." She murmured softly, biting her lip once more as she gazed out past him to the hallway and then back to him for a brief moment. • She was doing better in her healing up but still not perfect so she walked a little slowly, eyeing the key for a moment before she looked ahead down the long hallway - her heels clicking along as they walked. • "Slowly..." Some of the parts had been stripped and others destroyed so needed to be replaced, but because it was a rare classic they had to be shipped in, and that took time. It was frustrating - his car, work, fighting with her, all of it really... (NT) -- Colin, 11:00:10 08/20/04 Fri

• She nodded a bit, stopping at her car and tossing the bag into the back - she had left the top down - before she looked back to him. "So...I guess...I'll see you around here sometime soon."
