So good to be with you again
Feels like it has been so long


It was amazing to be working again, especially with him. They weren't assigned to partners yet but she had a good feeling they wouldn't pair them together which was she was kind of thankful for. There was just to many feeling involved when they were partners and he tended to get over protective and she got even more stubborn, it just never turned out well in the end. Someone ended up in the hospital, it seemed, whenever they were working together on a case. Now, two weeks after all the drug tests had been passed - which made her incredably proud of her boyfriend - the physicals were done and all the security clearances given out, they were back in some hardcore training. She had just come off of a mile run and into the gym when she saw him at the weight bench, pausing a moment to just admire his form. He was looking so much better these days, more alive then he had since well, for a long time. He wasn't using anymore and now that he was working again it was like he had a new sense of purpose. A grin crossed her lips as she shifted to go to the machine - a leg press - next to him. "So got the mile in way under time, how did you do?"
