Her heart suddenly felt like it was being twisted in her chest and it was hard to breathe. She hated fighting with him, absolutely hated it. It hurt so badly it was a physical pain and she had to take a deep breath to calm herself down but still, when she spoke her voice was choked. "Damn it, Remy, you just..you just went back in there. You could have di-" She cut off the word, unable to even speak of him being killed, of the possibility of him dying in that explosion. It hurt. She knew he had been running on adrenaline, that he had this hero complex, that he felt like he had to take care of everyone but the fact that he hadn't thought about his family, that he had just run back in there to save everyone else when it would KILL her if something happened to him...well that hurt. It hurt that his family hadn't been on his mind at the time, didn't he understand how much they needed him? Even Kyrian had just went in there, got Kyrian and then got out. He didn't try to be a hero because his main concern was his girlfriend and his unborn child. Kyrian knew his priorities. Tears pricked her eyes for a moment and she had to run a hand down her face. Suddenly, she stood up, grabbing her purse. "I..I don't feel good. I'm going to get Chase and go home. Keep me updated on Haylie, yeah?" She questioned, pulling out her keys from the purse.
