eat lots of fruit and veggies instead of fattening food. this way you're not "dieting" but eating healthy.
cut back or eliminate anything that has too much sugar or fat in it (you need some, but not as much as food has in it). try for "healthy" eating instead of just eating. eat 3 meals a day and for snacks have veggies if you must have anything. you could do 3-6 small meals a day. then you're not dieting. you could even find healthy "diets" out there, they are there. they will contain all the nutrients you need and food and you won't feel like you're on a diet.

to be "smaller" you need to exercise. muscle (pilates, weights) will take up less room in your body then fat. don't forget cardio/aerobics though! This will also make you lose weight without giving up more food and dieting.

if you have an eating disorder then you may want to stop before it gets out of control (trust me). just focus on loving yourself as you are, eating healthy, exercising to be healthy and so on.
