For the record. I've worked a little more on this, but to no resolution.

I couldn't tell exactly which version of libtiff Envision uses, but it's older than 3.5.7, which is the first version where I actually see the unit for handling old-style JPEG compression. (Older version have the #defines, just not the code.) I copied over the file and massaged the source a bit to get it to compile. It appears to compile, but I get access violations when I run it. If I have some more time, I'll investigate further.
