As I understand it, you will not need to tell it, since Envision does not support _native_ CMYK and Lab.
All envision graphic classes translate their input during load to a windows dib graphic. This class draws itself to the imagescrollbox as all TGraphic would do.

Envision is based on windows dib graphic and windows dib graphic does not support CMYK and Lab by my knowledge. As long you do not want to modify/write CMYK and Lab, there is no problem.

If you want to modify/write CMYK and Lab natively (without 2 times conversation on load and save with all the problems of this) envisions concept must be changed:

1. Distinction between a native and a windows dib version of a graphic.

2. Tools allowing the modification of the native data while keeping the windows dib version in sync;
basicly a new TCanvas replacement (TCanvas is 100% GDI based) for CMYK data and the same for Lab and all other image formats not supported by windows.

The advantage would be the possiblity of internal support for a "real" alpha resp transparence channel and many other wounderfull nice things...
