Sharpen transform changes ImageFormat -- Envision Support Forum

Subject: Sharpen transform changes ImageFormat

We are using TSharpenTransform to sharpen scanned TIFF images. They start as a black and white image, when the transform is applied, it changes the format to true color. Is there any way to control it so the image format stays as it started?

The rpoblem is a massive size increase in the image.
