Subject: ZoomToSelection Eats RAM and Fails

Hello,

I'm a newbie to Envision! I'm using DELPHI 6.0 and the demo app. I downloaded the demo.exe app and ran it. I noticed that when the "mouse mode" SELECT option is checked, and I go ahead and do an area selection ("SMALL area is key") I get a couple of exceptions. Sometimes, I get an "Out of resources" or "scrollbars not present" exception. Othertimes, I do not get an outright exception, but the demo EATS all of my RAM plus creates huge PAGE faults and basically locks up the machine(peek in TASK MANAGER). The weird thing is that, If I go ahead and select a "larger area" it works fine. No Exceptions, No problems. By "SMALL" area I mean an area that fits a word of 6 or less chars. By"LARGER" area I mean anything larget then that.

I downloaded the eval version of the lib and I traced it to the "ZoomToSelection" call. I have also, implemented an alternative "zoom on selection" by following Michel's
examples from previous post but I get the same error on that code.

So.. I really need zooming to work in order to use the lib. I also have to say that the LIB (Envision) is very very nice because of its simplicity and power. Hopefully someone can help me with this Zooming on selection problem.

Another question. I need to be able to zoom into an area right after I load an image.
But I get "a scrollbar not present " error also. I'm not sure if these errors are
somehow related...

Thanks in advance.
