You are right, hiding scrollbars is not working. If you don't want to edit the source code, there is a simple solution.

First drop a TScrollBox with its scrollbars off. Then drop a TimageScrollBox onto the TScrollbox. Place it to the location(0,0).

After loading an image, you should equalize the width and height of the Envision component with the width and height of the image. Now you have an image component without scrollbars.
