Can anyone help with my query?

I have a Samsung SCX-1000s multi-function printer/scanner, which I use primarily for copying documents.

All has worked fine since I got the machine (about a year)but now the copies miss off about 2 - 3 mm of the image - as if the original was misaligned, which it isn't. I can find no way of accessing the scanning mechanism, physically, to make any adjustments there.

Any suggestions?
