Hi Mike,

I seem to recall some users have reported similar errors on HP scanners. The first thing is make sure you don't test this from inside the IDE; this can cause problems. You have to run your program outside the IDE with twain, or turn off integrated debugging in the debugger options.

Also making sure you have the latest twain DLLs from www.twain.org may help and check if HP have an updated driver.
