Some more facts...

It seems that the assignment does not work as it should:

TTiffGraphic(IMSB.Graphic).Compression := tcGroup4;

When I debug the value it's tcNone before as well as after the assignment. However, if use the debugger and set the compression to tcGroup4 while debugging(before the assignment takes place), the value actually changes.

This information maybe helps you to solve the problem.
