Dear Sven,

I am not sure what approach you are using. This message probably comes from Delphi/CBuilder as it does not allow you to change the contents of a TJpegImage, or maybe any other TGraphic class that is not a TBitmap.

What I would do is first load the image in the TJpegGraphic then use the Canvas property to change the image. After you can load the TJpegGraphic in the TImage. For example,

JpegGraphic := TJpegGraphic.Create;
JpegGraphic.LoadFromFile(...);
JpegGraphic.Canvas.Draw(...);

Image.Picture.Graphic := JpegGraphic;

JpegGraphic.Free;

Best regards,

Michel
